For this look I used all drugstore makeup. I’m happy with the end look & the products perform well. Best of all they’re affordable!
On the face I used Marcelle’s BB Cream in Light to Medium. I like this product better in the summer as it can cling to dry patches in the winter months when my skin is a bit drier. To conceal under the eyes, Rimmel’s Match Perfection Concealer is an excellent choice – good coverage & no creasing. I dusted some Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Sandstorm under the eyes to prolong the wear of the concealer. On the cheeks, I used Wet n Wild’s Color Icon Blush in Heather Silk – a little goes a long way. This blush is highly pigmented. For highlight, I used the Nyx Blush in Sand – it is a golden shade which works better for me as a highlight than a blush.
I kept the eyes neutral using one of my favorite eyeshadow palettes, Wet n Wild’s Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio in Walking on Eggshells. I started by priming the lids with Elf’s Mineral Eyeshadow Primer. I applied the shadows exactly as suggested or as they are named in the package with the midtone all over the lid, the darkest shade in the crease & the lightest shade on the browbone. I lined my eyes with Maybelline’s Master Drama Eyeliner in Midnight Master – just a basic line. I tried out a new mascara – well new to me anyway – Covergirl’s Flamed Out Water Resistant Mascara in Very Black Blaze. The brows received some attention with Maybelline’s Define-A-Brow.
Finishing off on the lips, I lined with Essence’s In The Nude Lipliner & applied Revlon’s Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey.
Hope you enjoyed the look! What products do you use from the drugstore?
