Hi Everyone! I haven’t done a Face of the Day post in awhile so I thought I’d share what I’m wearing today. I kept it pretty light & neutral.
For foundation I used my favorite Estee Lauder Double Wear Light in shade 2.0 & concealed under the eyes using L’Oreal’s True Match concealer in shade W123 fair/light. I didn’t conceal any spots on my face as I’m going for a more natural look. For blush, I mixed 2 Tarte blushes – Crave & Dazzled which are the first 2 shades & used Mac’s Skinfinish in Superb to highlight my cheekbones, upper lip & down my nose.
On the eyes, I primed with Too Faced’s Shadow Insurance. I decided to use am eye shadow palette that I’ve been neglecting – the Catrice Cosmetics Absolute Nude. I picked this up when I was in Portugal last year & haven’t used it much even though the shades are beautiful. The lightest shade is all over the lid, inner corner & brow bone. I used the third shade – counting the lightest as the first – in the crease area. I lined my upper lash line with Maybelline’s Master Drama eyeliner in Midnight Master – just a thin line. After curling the lashes, I applied 2 coats of Cover Girl’s Flamed Out mascara – I didn’t realize it’s water resistant & I tend to use regular mascara but I’m interested to see if the curl holds any better.
I filled in my brows slightly using Maybelline’s Define-A-Brow in Dark Brown.
Lastly on the lips, a product that is fairly new to me but I’m enjoying is Neutrogena’s MoistureSmooth Color Stick in Fresh Papaya.
What do you use when you want to keep your look light & neutral?
