I’ve already received my October Ipsy bag so it’s time to share my thoughts on September’s Ipsy bag.
I do like the makeup bag, it’ll make a nice clutch…I just need to have an occasion to use it.
There is one product I haven’t tried yet – the LeeAnni Eco 3-in-1 Revolution Light – which is the toner, moisturizer & serum in one. I break out easily so I’ve been hesitant to use it. I still don’t know if I will try it or pass it along to my mom.
The Crown Brush Infinity Shadow/Crease Duet Brush is super soft & easy to work with. It hasn’t shed at all & blends product well. I’m currently travelling & this is the only eye brush I brought along & I don’t regret it. I typically don’t like double ended brushes but I find it very handy to just flip it over when I need to. I would definitely purchase a brush from Crown Brushes now that I’ve gotten to test one out.
I have been using the Pacifica Natural Water-Proof Eye Pencil in Fringe to fill in my brows. Its a good shade match, its nice & creamy & lasts about 8 hours or so.
I’ve worn the Hikari Lipstick in Cabernet around the house. I like the shade – its a nice wine colour for Fall. I find the formula is average – its not moisturizing but it does wear for a few hours. Hikari doesn’t ship to Canada though so even if I liked it, I wouldn’t be able to order it.
The Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask has been used twice & on both occasions my hair felt weighed down & like there was still residue even though I rinsed thoroughly. There is still another use left but I’m not going to bother with it. I much prefer the Eva NYC Therapy Session Hair Mask that I got in my May Ipsy bag. I’ve been meaning to purchase it but since I can only find it online I haven’t gone ahead.
Overall I’m happy with the bag. My fave product is the Crown brush which retails for about $17.50 USD & my least fave product is the Briogeo hair mask . How do you feel about your September Ipsy bag?
